Our program is designed to address behavioral and mental health challenges, inspiring and equipping young individuals with the tools necessary for positive life outcomes. At S.W.A.T. Inc., we believe in the power of love, acknowledgement, and comprehensive support to foster self-esteem and resilience in underprivileged children and their families.

Counseling and Support Services
Our experienced counselors and therapists are committed to creating a supportive and nurturing environment, where children and teenagers can openly express themselves and work towards resolving their challenges. We actively supervise and interact with our young clients, ensuring that their physical and emotional needs are being met, and guiding them towards healthier behaviors and choices.

To effectively address school behavior problems, we strengthen the home-school link by facilitating initial school meetings, involving both parents and school officials, to assess and understand the child’s behavior. We then implement targeted interventions to help parents model and reinforce desired behaviors at home. This holistic approach also extends to addressing issues related to In-School Suspension, Out-of-School Suspension, and Teen Dropouts, ensuring that youth remain engaged and supervised, even outside of the traditional school setting.

Addressing Behavioral Health Needs
At S.W.A.T. Inc., we recognize that each youth is unique, and we tailor our services to meet their individual needs through personalized, person-centered planning. Our counseling and therapy services are crucial components of this process, guiding at-risk youth onto a positive and constructive path.

In addition to our counseling services, we offer a range of extracurricular and recreational activities designed to channel aggression positively and facilitate small group sessions. We are proud to partner with local business owners to provide shadowing opportunities in various skilled trades, as well as volunteer opportunities that allow our youth to give back to the community. These experiences not only complement our counseling services but also enable our youth to realize their potential to make a positive impact and contribute meaningfully to society.
